one more ex-pat

We now have another ex-pat, albeit a temporary one. The vixen is leaving the country on Tuesday and she had leaving drinks on Wednesday. Her first stop is Thailand where she will undergo 7 days of detox. During this time she will be fasting and having daily colonic irrigation. She’ll certainly need a break after all that, although once the initial shock had worn off I came round to thinking it’s a good thing. I couldn’t persuade her to start a blog believing, quite rightly, that it’s her trip, but she has agreed to send detailed email accounts. On the off chance I let the unbearded one know where I was and was thrilled when he appeared. He backed off a little when I told him the vixen was around as it appears he had once made her cry. It’s quite a benchmark with him. He only stayed for a bit as he was working but asked me to pop over.

The catster was running late so I popped over while I waited. I wasn’t expected Lady Janey to be there as the band was ‘2 Poofs and a Piano’, a backing band for a TV personality’s talk show, but she was there. I couldn’t believe that they could sell out 2 nights in a row. I was really happy to see her and we had a marvellous gab, several rants and I’ve vowed to meet up more, with their permission. I had to ask if Wossy was there twice before the confusion over the talent was cleared up. It seems the bearded one had been using cultural short hand and the band are actually from NYC.

I took advantage of the evening by bringing colour print outs of my stitches, (and the new picture as below) there was after all a whole set of new people to bore. There are some quite similar decorative stones outside the concrete jungle but they have obviously had several Health & Safety Assessments there and the tops are painted a very visible white colour. Maybe I should write to complain. Any lawyers among us?
