It appears that spring has finally sprung and at last I do not get shouted at when I dare to open a window by a crack at work. I’ve been a little perky at work of late, it’s all those early morning runs and the WB told me that I needed to go out and get drunk so that I could go into work like the more sullen codename of last year. When the sun came out yesterday I did just that and sat under my tree on a spontaneous whim. I sipped lager with a work colleague who has just moved into the area. On arrival my radar detected a strange man. Anyone walking around the park in the evening with a huge rucksack suggests that they are out for a while and have nowhere to go. I was pleased when he walked around us after having eyed us for a good 20 minutes. 10 minutes later the Rossers appeared to take him away in a meat wagon. It appears that he has mental problems and had chased someone through the park. It tool the Police about 20 minutes to calm him down. Normally a magnet for trouble it was good to have avoided it on my first sit down visit of the year. Today I thanked the WB for his advise as I did have a nice time but somehow I woke up this morning with no less than 12 mosquito bits. Boooooooooo.
I simply cannot wait to have a garden. I’d love to sit out on balmy evenings such as tonight and observe clear night skies. Tonight I can see Mars to the right of the waxing moon and a bright and shiny Jupiter rising. The moon is so bright that I have a window of light in my bedroom. It’s magical. In lieu of my own garden I am growing tomatoes in a sunny office at work. I planted them today and will naturally chart their progress. I know how to have fun eh.
And look, someone has managed to photograph my woodpecker. I can't wait to have a bird box and bath. And so the list goes on.... Valuations tomorrow…………

I'm with you on this CNL. Having your own garden is the best thing. Its the thing that upsets me most about not having my house anymore ... Hey ho. I've got a backyard and some pots now, and managed to sit in it at the weekend in a T shirt with a glass of wine and pretend that I did still have a garden ... Once my house has been sold maybe I'll get a proper one again. Good luck with yours. xx
