I spent some more time with Daddy today fine-tuning the TV installation plans. This time we drew diagrams and spent about 15 minutes planning, before he had an aha moment, and he suddenly declared that as my DVD does not record, the installation that I did myself in 15 minutes is all I actually need. To my shame I then realised that the reason I had no sound from the VHS and DVD when he asked me to check (I had called him proudly on installation as I had done it all by myself) was because the TV was on mute as I was on the phone to him at the time. Shameful.
